I thought I would start sharing little videos, that some may find helpful. I would like to help in building a culture that is more caring and empathetic for students (and parents and teachers) who have different learning abilities (also known as “disabilities”, “special needs”, “ADHD”….and many more), in our district.
How many teachers have a “Vincent” in their class? How many parents have a “Vicent or two” at home? Students like Vincent usually are trying very hard to “keep it together” at school and everything begins to unravel when they get home. In an environment they know they can “just be themselves”. Have a watch of this video. It is about 9 minutes long.
